A councillor report raised issues about fire trucks not being able to fully utilize the right-of-way due to the centre hydro poles. These poles are different from the Queens Quay and Spadina ROW designs, which have hydro poles to the sides of the entire roadway. It does seem to be an impediment-- not to mention that it doesn't create a nice streetscape.
