I haven't been very good with blogging these days, mainly as there is nothing too inspiring that is truely worthy of blogging relative to the time that I have to spare. Perhaps this will soon change as my time frees up in 1.5 weeks when I return to Waterloo.
I spend most of my commuting either sleeping or thinking. Mostly sleeping. But today, there were many questions I asked myself, but with no proper response.
Here we go.
1. How can you ask a stranger what they're wearing that makes them smell nice, without totally freaking them out? Is it even possible?
2. Let's say that you take interest in someone romantically, and this person has given hints of disinterest. You want to continue but are torn as to where to draw the line between (1) being persistent and (2) being plain-out annoying? Perhaps responses can only happen depending on the actual scenario? I don't know.
3. What is the etiquette for hand shaking? Should a person always provide firm handshakes as specified in UW Co-op? Or should the intensity of firmness be relative to the 'receiver' of the handshake?
That's it.
Addendum:
These questions seem appropriate for AskMefi. Also, there was severe grammatical errors and unclear sentences in this entry. My apologies-- it was written in two minutes.
I've been very lazy these days, and one thing that I have put off doing is to prepare for the looming school term. I think I have mainly been putting it off because I seriously don't even want to think about school right now. The weather is still warm and Toronto is still happening.
But alas, here is my first attempt at getting ready. I am here to open the Matt Marketplace. As you might know, I will be moving to Uptown Waterloo come September, and my roommate Patrick and I are looking at a few larger furniture and appliance items. If you happen to have any of the following items that are no longer in use, please let me know. I am willing to pay a fair market price for them.
For the living space:
Kitchen table
Living room couch or chairs
Window curtains
Television
For the personal space:
Bookshelf
Bedroom dresser
Mattress
Home cleanliness and organization:
Vacuum
Door Mat
Shoe racks
Let me know if you have any of these items sitting around unused.
I saw this at the park on my way home from work.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. But considering there is no way of contacting the "owner" of the pet, I guess I should laugh. Besides, Nemo is in Sydney, not Markham.
Poor Nemo, I hope I don't find you in the park.
Toronto, say hello to Hollister, the nation's first two retail locations of the ever-present collegiate and queer-boi parent clothing empire, Abercrombie and Fitch. I had the opportunity to head to the Eaton Centre to kill some time and check things out.
The Hollister experience can be summed up into one word: dark.
The collegiate pop-punk music was atrociously blaring to the point that it was impossible to grasp what the sales associate was saying.
The exterior facade resembles a beach paradise tavern, with the token traditional window shutters. Because of these unique shutters placed on the storefront, there are no prominent storefront merchandise displays that shoppers have become accustomed to.
Once inside, I started to question what kind of theme this store is trying to represent-- it definitely didn't look like a beach paradise. Inside, it was dark, really really dark. The only lighting in the store are the overhaning spotlight fixtures casted only at its table clothing displays, leaving the other areas near pitch dark. Maybe I found it a little weird because we have become so used to stores that are brightly lit with floor space that casts absolutely no shadows.
Many elements of store reminded me of the now defunct, Loose Change Louies (but with Good Charlotte playing or something), but perhaps even darker-- since at least Louies had ghetto black light. Hollister managed to turn the once spacious Bluenotes location into probably most crammed and stuffy shop in the mall.
For the record, the mall wasn't busy.
As I browse their selection of Humour Tees, I was soon amazed at the people that were brushing against me. Sure I'm irresistible, but the brushing was feeling quite uncomfortable. I would only expect that at a dirty bar.
Another reason why I thought I was at Louies. Perhaps that's was their intention.
When all's said and done, I hope this is "dark beach" theme is just temporary because I don't think I can get used to this.
Hollister is now located at the Eaton Centre and at Sherway Gardens, and Abercrombie will soon be open on the street level at the Eaton Centre close to Sephora. Abercrombie is already open at Sherway.
Anyone know if they have the topless "All-American" AF associates announcing promotions at Sherway like their American counterpart?
Just curious. Yep.
This is what you do when you don't want to do GIS.
I was so desperate for distraction that I was stumbling on the Muchmusic website for some dirt on Ashlee Simpson (BTW, she will be having an autograph signing at Markville on Wednesday evening). Instead however, one of the promotional contests caught my eye.
It is called Hit on my guy, and win. This contest is to promote a particular line of hair care products that I will not name. However, what is cool about it is that you can dress your guy from head to toe. From underwear, hair styles, facial hair, you name it!
After about 20 minutes of fun, I came up with this guy. Isn't he a dish? Haha.
His name is Clint. This is in memory of Clint Moffatt emailing me. Haha.
I actually registered to enter for the contest, and of course, I receive a confirmation email. I'm not sure whether I should be insulted or embarrassed because the email's saluation is "Hey Girl."
I should've known better than to browse on Much. I blame this on you GIS lab assignment.
If you have time to slack off, please try it out, and don't hesitate to send me a copy of your hot guy!
It's time to relax on this fine long-weenend Thursday afternoon. I found some cheesy jokes on the PIR Intranet that I thought I'd share with you all. It's hard to find some clean humour these days; maybe I'm just dirty and don't encounter these often.
A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm and says, "A beer please, and one for the road."A sandwich walks into a bar. The bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve food in here."
Two hydrogen atoms walk into a bar.
One says, "I've lost my electron."
The other says, "Are you sure?"
The first replies, "Yes, I'm positive..."Two antennas meet on a roof, fall in love and get married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.
Why did the golfer wear two pair of pants? Just in case he got a hole in one!!!!
Have a great Canada Day weekend!
HAPPY NEW YEAR
First off, Happy New Year! HAPPY 4701 4702! Best wishes and hope everyone gets what they wish for!
V-DAY
It is half-an-hour away from Valentine's Day. My intention was to be totally bitter about this dumb-ass holiday-- especially me and my single-ness--but I refuse to have it get to the best of me-- or at least try.
But speaking of Valentines and lovers, it's time for my rant-slash-bitterness, even though it contradicts with what I just said. Anyways, I just feel that sometimes, it's just my luck: guys are always either unattractive, losers or taken. I hate to admit it but it's sad that is cliche is in fact true.
Omg, a song just came to me. Do you rememeber the cheesy Canadian boy-band, VIP? Remember their song, It's Just My Luck? Holy shit, how appropriate is this song or what?!? They're my new hero.
It has just dawned on me that it's been a good year-and-a-half since my last relationship-- man, time really does fly. There's this sudden feeling inside me to be with someone. After years of being overly caught up with the stresses with schoolwork and work-work, I just started to miss the feeling of being crazy about and spoiling someone again.
Watch out everyone, Matt's on the prowl. Haha. Rawr!
On another note, I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine cards! I just love sending them out, it makes me so giddy when we used to all ritually distribute them back in the days of primary school.
USHER LEO?
On to other useless things: I went shopping with Planning Leo on the weekend. He was wearing this Mexx-ish top, a Von Dutch cap. and a pair of jeans. I told him to try on this blazer I saw in Gap, and boom, Leo magically transformed into Usher-- mind you, Leo's Taiwanese. Man, he looked so hot. Isn't it weird that all of a sudden, the blazer, and a shirt and denim has become the Usher signature look?
Man, if we had strobe lights and some skanky club chicks, we can so re-enact the "Yeah" video.
TTC FARES, OMFG
What other senseless junk should I talk about? Oh yes, so it looks like I was wrong guys, the City of Toronto has indeed raised fares starting March 6th-- 2.50 cash, or $20 for 10 tokens. The only thing I can say is I'm very disappointed. There is something really fishy going on (and it's not my pussy), and I don't like it, not one bit.
Here's an article for some backgrounder:
TTC believes in magic
That's all folks. Have a great one.
THE PORN...
First of all, Shima and Laurence are a bunch of sickos-- even for me. But oh wow, it's so hot-- perhaps a revolutionary breed of pornography for the 21st Century.
THE INTERVIEW (and more)...
I'm here anxiously waiting on my interview (I have a gap between the group interview and the individual interview), so I'm destressing myself by not thinking about it too much.
On a side note, I officially designate this next week and the following week HELL WEEK ALPHA and HELL WEEK BETA. Papers, midterms, papers, assignments, and more papers. I don't know anything about you, but the paper-driven nature of this program is starting to really decline my learning ability. I understand that, as planners, we need to communicate effectively and efficiently-- orally and in writing. But it is getting to the point that we are literally writing out of our asses.
...and MILLER
On a side note, after performing the daily skimming of thestar.com, I have to rant about how tired I am of TTC's claims to increase fares. Miller time and time again continues to use this irritating political tactic to give pressure to Federal and Provincial counterparts to step up and provide more funding for the city.
This is riduculous. It's really getting to the point that citizens and government officials are desensitized to this whole bogus threat. Stop it already! This dirty trick is getting fucking old. I really suggest Miller do a book review of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. I understand that Toronto is the economic engine of this province, and the nation, but really these media political strategies are getting really ridiculous.
Let me remind you that the TTC is already getting sustained favourable funding (respective of other municipalities) from the Province-- in the degree of $81 million this year-- and the amount is expected to rise each year. Also, Toronto is also expecting to receive a large portion of funds from the Federal gas tax allocation. And rememeber the $70 million to prevent the fare hike back in September? Yes, after a few months, here goes the TTC going at it again. Fuck, stop the madness.
Miller has been speaking like a true New Democrat-- which he is. I understand his concerns to build a great city, but seriously, he need to realize that he is severely spoiling his relations with the Province. It's important to realize that although Toronto is the provincial economic superpower, the 905 is where the votes are. Who is the province going to listen to? So for the sake of the city, suggest him to make amends and shut the hell up.
As exams loom closer, calculators can definitely be quite useful. engineers mathemeticians, and economists may be well aware of different specialized calculators, but I'm sure they've not encountered one quite like this one.
Check out the Orgasmic Calculator. Note: Turn on your speakers, given that you're in a private environment! :P
Addendum:
I'm loving this calculation right here:
83434 X 9 ? 5 ?67676767676767
Don't forget to press 'C' when you're done!
If you were wondering, the answer is: 1.1095402835821 e-08
( obviously sex doesn't understand order of operations, they do things linearly or if you will, 'horizontally' :P )
no wonder 8 is my favourite number.
please guys, don't have fun with it as much as I have-- believe me.
Note: Due to database corruption issues from November 7, 2004 to December 21, 2004, entry comments may been deleted, or misplaced. I have tried to recall some of the comments that was mentioned.
It has been an interesting few days. Thursday is approaching and the long weekend is near. So we're on Week 5, I?ve realized this because I?m almost out of tokens.
The weekend was pretty good for the most part. Friday was the much anticipated Din-Din and Drink night, or 'Triple-D', with the Planners. Laurence's entry on October 4th pretty much summed it up. Got pretty plastered, but still managed to get home with no bumps or bruises. With the exception of the damn rowdy Seneca kids (they wore Seneca hoodies) on the Steeles bus home; they were so rowdy, the bus driver had to get up and tell them to chill out, I suspect they are kids from FMM (I hear familiar teacher's names). If I were anymore sick, I would puke on them. Overall, it was an interesting night to say the least. Hmm. Yes, quite interesting.
Speaking of interesting. I finally found out what Levitra is after seeing the subway / bus stop ads on numerous occasions. Yes, it's pills for erectile dysfunction. They always make the ads so ambiguous, talk about bad marketing. But then again, I did find out what it meant, so I guess it wasn't that ineffective. As what our beloved GIS TA always said: "Google is your friend." Hmm. Yes, quite interesting.
Anyway, saw 'Banana Boys' on Saturday with Leo, Bow and Eric at this small production theatre at Bathurst & Adelaide. It was seriously the wrong side of town. Major brownfields, vacant lots. seriously if a tumbleweed passed by, I wouldn't be surprised. The play was decent; but it seriously had nothing to do with being a 'banana'. Just simply about the pressures teens encounter living under conservative family settings. Because I had high hopes for this production, I am somewhat disappointed. It was also one of those abstract plays which is not easy to comprehend; y'know, the shows/movies that Eric likes, what a weirdo :P
COURSE ENROLMENT SUCKS!
Has anyone picked courses for Winter '05 yet? Seriously, the planning department really enjoys to gang rape me. Yes, it's worse than being screwed over, this is bad bad bad. Here are some of my findings:
1. Specializing in gis is impossible in the co-op stream--even if I stay an extra term. conclusion: screw gis.
2. I'm one course short of doing the land development planning specialization. I'm trying to exchange talks with Seasons.
3. If talks go well with Seasons, and if admin doesn't cancel or change the course offerings schedule (which I greatly doubt) I might be able to get land development specialization and my business option on my diploma.
As it stands, I'm taking PLAN 300, 309, 349, 362, and the second section of 474: Planning and Public Policy. What about you guys?
Hey everyone, hope all is well with everyone. :)
I don't have much to blog about, but I just wanted to have a different entry on the index page. The previous entry was too bitter.
I think I passed that bitter point. I've noticed that I am always bitter in the beginning of every term-- school or co-op. I think that I'm one of those people who are wiery of change. I hate change. Yes, change is always for the best and I understand that. Change is inevitable for continuous improvement (I've heard enough of this in Business Admin Classes) but at the same time, I like familiarity, I fear what is unknown. I like to be in control.
Work as been a lot better. The other co-op students and interns are great, but perhaps the only social people in the Ministry. I had a good lunch with Laurence today, it was good to update each other's happenings.

8. Be a member of Provincial Parliament.
9. My cherished family photo scrapbook I put together when I was 10.
10. I will remain a Canadian for life: Vancouver.
... i promise, guys!
SCHOOL:
AHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHH! :: screaming like an excited tween girl ::
Matthew Lee has finally finished HELL WEEK! YES! No more hiberating at Dana Porter and study my ass. Though Hell Week is over, it doesn't mean Heaven has prevailed. My other exams were okay-- not great-- but okay. All except stupid Microeconomics. OMG, I sat at my desk staring at the paper, having no idea what do with it. It was all applied calculus trying to find the demand and consumption of this and that. Whoever is a pro in economics and would like to tutor me, please please refer to me. Grrrr!
WORK:
AHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHH! I still don't believe it, but Mr. Matt has a job, and in Toronto too! Finally I get a break from stupid crapola 'Loo! 12 straight months in Waterloo will finally come to an end as of my birthday (My last exam is on my bday, just perfect timing.) I'm working for the Ontario Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal formerly known as the Ontario Superbuild Corporation under the Tories. I'll be working at Queen's Park so all you UT kids, we can have lunch dates! Hmmmm Queen's Park, where can I get my hands on Dalton McGuinty, and rape him for false promises. Maybe I can start another Monica Lewinsky 'cigar' scandal. TEE HEE (A), no, I'm still all about the Liberals. Federal election stuff, I'll put aside perhaps for another blog entry.
TORONTO:
I'm FINALLY back in Toronto. It seems like eternity since I've been back. Finally some REAL food. If I have another bolongne sandwich, I will die. If I have another slice of pizza, I will die. If i have anymore pasta, I will die.
Ohhh Markham, my Markham, I miss you so. I miss my Pacific Mall, I miss my REAL Chinese food, I miss my REAL bubble tea, I miss driving-- yes planners, I miss driving, so sue me.
BANGING CONSTRUCTION WORKERS:
The upstairs roommates have finally moved in. And they've definitely moved in with a 'bang' but disappointingly, not the 'bang' that i'd like to be experiencing.
That's a 'bang' every morning at about 5:40 am. These guys are not university students-- they're a bunch of student-like twentysomethings with beer and bikini girl posters for their wall decor. Oh yes, and they're in the construction business.
Sure they may be hot blue-collar workers-- and they are!-- but their annoyingness bugs me, they walk all around the house with their construction boots on, completely not thinking the fact that you hear every single step they make. Like a stampede of bulls running around, huffing and puffing while I awaken every friggin morning. UGH!
CONVOCATION (and my feelings on it):
It was Angela, one of my sister's close friend's convocation on Thursday. I've known her since I was a pesky annoying little elementary school boy, I just had go and be there. It was so nice, I love convocations. Every convocation that I go, I always develop this sense of happiness for them. In a way, perhaps because I'm currently in the process of university, I can feel how much they have gone through. All the tears, the struggles, the disappointments, the constant cramming, the neverending lack of time, but on the other hand, the good drinking times, the great friends, the sigh of relief after exams, the independence. All those things are engraved in that diploma, aside from the obvious: the gain in knowledge, experience, and the initials after your name.
Where was I getting at? Oh yeah, I always get this teary feeling at convocations. I can't help but to be proud for people, even a distant relationship of my sister's friend. Regardless of what you are studying in University/College; you gain more than just academic knowledge-- heck, I don't even remember anything that I crammed on Friday-- but I'm sure all of us gained more as a person, gained more about ourselves, and build more confidence to face the real world. University is a trial period, being rejected, having faults and making mistakes in University is no big deal-- perhaps because faults is the only way we'll learn. But in the "real world" it might not be so easy.
Again, what's my point. Yes, convocations are nice. I hope I have a chance to experience all your convocations, and experience that sense of success, the step passed a crucial life stage, and heading towards a bigger and better place. I hope I get a chance to witness all your happiness and joys, and take in all the experiences that all you go through, and perhaps one eventual day, I can show you my experiences, when or if I graduate :D
That's it for this entry folks. :D Will update again, real real soon.

UPDATE:
omg, what a shitty day, i feel like crap-- feel like puking. it was my upstairs roommates last night in Waterloo so we decided to make a night of it-- and now it's sooo errrily quiet-- man, i kinda miss their loudness-- i miss them... :( anyway, we stupidly started drinking during the leafs game last night and went all night. yikes. i was like 'whatever, its just one night of drunkenness and i'll be fine'... but anyways.. i've been holding back my puke and finally i'm feeling better after gallons of water. next topic...
so yes, my landlord wants to sell the house-- i don't see why, because he gets a hella lotta dough from ripping off innocent university students like myself. anyways, they hired a real estate agent to deal with it all. this guy is totally funny. he's so damn giddy and cheery that it's really really irritating.
he visited us last week, the first thing he says when he comes in the house is "are you guys PUMPED to sell a house? i'm so pumped, so pumped! are *you* guys pumped?" anyways, there's been lotsa people looking at the house, but no buyers (obviously) who would wanna buy that crap! anyways, he nice and phones us when he knows someone is taking a loook at the place. he always acknowledges himself as "Mike the realtor"-- every single time. Either he's on the phone, in person, in his emails. it's become this popular expression in the house, I'm "Matt the gayass".
MY SITUATION
question for everyone-- I have a small dilemma. okay. I have a crush on someone-- I know, so 'junior high'. LOL. Anyways, a friend of mine, "Joe", has a this friend-- "Jay" let's say. Anyways, Jay doesn't know me and I don't really know Jay-- all i know is my physical attraction. I'm not sure how Jay is like but I'd really like to know more. I'm sure you guys have encountered this.
I'm in this situation like where I'm like at a slutty bar-- I find someone attractive, I want to say hi, but I'm afraid. I donno, i'm not exactly afraid because of being rejected--but I completely dread doing 'the approach', the act of getting over there, and say someone appropriate. Obviously, i'm not stupid enough to give a lousy pick-up line and come off as cocky-- nor to I wanna come off as a shy needy loser. I'm okay with the rejection-- I understand I don't not rock everyone's boat-- that's cool-- not to mention, I'm just purely used to the rejection. *tears*
Okay, back to the situation-- I'm not too close to Joe-- the friend that we (Jay and I) mutually know. Because we aren't all that close, I'm afraid to let my friend know I'm interested in Jay-- too much complications and I really don't wanna get people involved in my "immature subject matter". but i did manage to get Jay's friendster. so, happily, i have a line of communication-- even tho it is a really bad way-- but it's something.
Without a doubt, I will tell Jay I'm interested and that I'd like to get to know him better. People keep telling me to "seize an opportunity"-- because you'll regret it if you don't. Anyway, I'm unsure what kind of approach I wanna take and how I'm going to say it. It's not like I'm going to say "hey jay, YOU'RE HOT, take me!" nor am I going to sound like this needy, desperate guy -- tho actually i am-- very very desperate :D lol. So there's my problem-- I don't know how to communicate my interest. This is especially tough because it *is* text-based-- and i'm completely sober-- there's no excuse to look like a fool. I don't know how to find that balance-- in other words-- be confident without being cocky, being direct without sounding desperate, and be easygoing without being too casual.
I think i'm overthinking this issue-- yes, I always complicate things.. ARGHH!! Your assistance is greatly appreciated-- tho I'm not sure if its one of those "assistable" matters-- just thought i'd share.
PS: if this entry disappears, you know why-- HAHA. will only be temporary
Hey everyone, hope everyone had a good weekend. I had trouble sleeping last night again-- I got up like countless times-- so often that it seemed like i didn't sleep the entire night. Now, I'm kinda dying today-- a little lightheaded. Which isn't good because I had to finishe off the minutes that I took from Friday's staff meeting. Word of advice, don't leave minutes to be completed after a weekend-- you won't remember that happened. I had to search through that little Planning brain of mine-- which was not fun-- but now i have a bit of time to fool around and blog before I head on home.
So yeah, I'm sure if you all picked up the newspaper (thanks leo for the link), they've found Cecilia's body. Although being missing this long is never a good sign, I was quite shocked to hear the news. I can even imagine how the family and friends of Cecilia must feel-- losing a daughter and a loved one-- and to have no idea who or why a person would take a way such an innocent and pretty little girl. All I can picture at this moment is that video of her birthday-- what a cute happy little girl--and i'm quite amazed that a Chinese family took footages of their little girl's bday-- I've never been in a Chinese birthday party that had one-- they must really love their daughter. :(
It is amazing the how great the community came together at times of need like this. The sponsorship of monies for Cecilia's return, the folding of cranes of hope, the devotion ceremonies-- it's great to see a community in unity-- but it's a shame that it is only at tragic times does this occur. My blessings for the family.
work has been okay-- tolerable right now-- time seems to be going just a tad faster than usual-- the magic number is five, FIVE weeks until the Spring Term. Goody goody! On another (but somewhat similar) note, I got myself a Spring term part-time position for the School of Planning-- doing office admin work. See, this I like-- I wouldn't mind doing what I'm doing on a parttime basis. Much better this way :D So, me happy.
The carport (or a open garage) in Waterloo was near collapse apparently over the weekend. Apparently, the landload come over to demolish it. I come home on Sunday night, and i'm like whoa, "Did it collapse of the Weekend?" Completely freaked me out! AH!
Whoops, it's home time, so blogging is going to end. :O :O my big boss came to talk to me again today! What's going on? This is odd, very odd. :D
hello everyone! it's been quite a busy busy week. it seems like as we soon approach that "S" word, we get more busy and times goes way faster...
Tuesday:
Anyway, went out with Bowie, Mark, and Gill. Went to crappy Holt Renfrew Last Call.. oh my gawd, it's a Holt Renfrew Value Village (Talk about oxymoron!). Well, close to "Last Call" there's this cool European Minimarket.. had pretty cool stuff, remember those good European cookies in Hong Kong? Yeah... even in Canada our family always went to Marks and Spencer to get those good cookies, but now they're gone. Boo. So go the European Market (near Jewish Town) and get those favourites!
We stopped by Tim Hortons for a Ice Capp, well sort of. We tried to have Mark treat us but...
[Mark orders first]
Tim's Worker: Can I help you?
Mark: Can I have a half-dozen cookies?
Tim's Worker: Sure
Bow, Matt: 2 ICE CAPPS!!!
Tim's Worker: [Speaks to Mark] How many Ice Capps?
Mark: [Bitchily] None!!!
Tim's Worker: Okay.
BITCH BITCH BITCH. ISN'T MARK A BITCH?!?
After we went to Bayview Village, nice posh mall, Gillian got like 1000 boxes of granola! oh my. That was basically the highlight. Then Leo, Eric, and Eugene joined us at Fairview for Tomb Raider. GOOD MOVIE, loved it.
Thursday:
Went to have a drink with Jason. The bar was not that great.. didn't make me feel that important-- wait staff the ignored us a lot. We caught up on old times, since i haven't seen him in the longest time. He believes that there will be an Asian-revolution in the music industry--and i believe him, cuz he's the music dood...! GO GO GO! With Utada and others coming out, there has to be! Go Asians! Like the Latin fever we had with Ricky Martin and others, it's the Asian's turn!-- tho we have one drawback-- we don't really have "Asian" music.
Friday:
Went to have nice dessert... mmmm... Dairy Queen wowsers, bumped into Peter Gendi, Tyrome, Mabel and Von. Then met up with Joanna, Ho Sing, Alan, and Linda. So nice to see all of them. Oh yeah.. Ems and Jenny too, who came with us to have dessert.
Saturday:
It was one of our close friends' wedding. Was quite a long day. Joyce and Eddie are their names and they had the wedding ceremony at the Knox College Chapel at U of T. OH MY GAWD, it's soo nice there. I'd want to have my wedding there too. So prestigous there, the architectural development is amazing. Anyways, it was a very nice and organized ceremony.
After, since we had about 3 hours to kill before the Wedding Ball thingy, we stopped to have a drink/dessert at this cool restaurant in Yorkville-- it's really nice here. WOW. very pretty. Then we did some shopping/browsing at the Hazelton Lanes, wow... talk about expensive!! AHH!.. well... it is Yorkville. Anyway, we then just walked some more and passed by Chapters (Yonge/Bloor), Pottery Barn and other stores-- we were all WAYYY overdressed, not to mention that i'm sweating to death in my suit!. AHHH!...
Then it was time for the banquet, which was at the Metropolitan Hotel-- which is across Mark/Eugene's new home at 89 Chestnut.... very nice place, good food too. :D Entertaining and excellent.
Enough about my week, I'll tell you more interesting stuff next entry.
(Copying Eugene and his brill ideas, and to steal valuable counter hits-- at the expense of Mark)
Question: Why is Mark such a bitch?
yes yes, finally those pesky overnights are done! you won't believe how much stuff we moved. almost every section was moved and instead of disassembling the shelves and placing them in the new position, we physically just moved the shelves as they stood. hence my body kills. but nevertheless, it's done. but it seems like i missed out on a fun weekend, which sucked indeed.
anyway, i got off work at 7a today, and i found a very interesting note on my windshield. here it is:

the phone number was blurred to protect the innocent. very interesting note. as much as i was tempted, i decided not to call-- perhaps it was a prank, just maybe. ;)
for the past few days, i had the luxury to see the sunrise... wow, it's really nice to smell the fresh morning air and have the sun so bright and low. also, i had the luxury to have mcdonalds breakfast, the mcgriddles were pretty good! -- thanks thomas
hmmm.. so i went shopping with my dad and sis on thursday at town centre... to my surprise, Roger works at the Gap. Hehe, he was the infamous greeter at the front of store. but hey pretty good worker... apparently it was his first day... it was nice seeing him again-- he's doing "urban geography" sorta like me! have everyone noticed how crappy old navy has become? geez, when will they stop stocking rugby's and polo shirts and focus on something just a little more different. big AIYA!
had a haircut a few yesturday... which turned out to be a big disaster... omg.. it's sooo ugly... so terribly ugly... c'mon, hair grow grow!!! and now i'm here to rant about personal dye stuff.. i don't know why, but my hair just doesn't take personal dye... i understand that my hair is near-black.. so it makes it harder, so i did a little bleaching before dyeing... but the dye just doesn't stay on!.. so i wasted time and money and a damaged scalp.. aiya aiya... i guess the only place is the salon.
lol, not much left to mention. have a great week. oh yeah, links are updated.
yes, another new layout! I got bored one day and decided to start a new one-- so here we are! Anyways, I really like Robbie Williams' past few singles, he definitely one of those cooler Popstars. Go Robbie!
So yes, when clubbing on Friday night -- with Pam and Thomas and his friends Will and Lester. It was an okay night, not the best, but the music was not bad. I was so entirely exhausted by the end of the night. Crazy. Got home at like 4 and simply just passed out.
Saturday, hmm, what did I do on Saturday? Oh yes, went to church after missing weeks and weeks of it (from Concert for Toronto, to Shopping, to going to Waterloo), I'm sooo bad. Anyways, after dinner, Bowie, Mark and I went off to Krispy Kreme, and met up with Eugene and Josh... seriously, krispies are no longer good-- this fad will definitely end. Then, we went to the new Milliken Pub, called the "The Major Milliken". It was god awful quiet there, but the drinks aren't too expensive, and it's a pretty nice place. Definitely would go there again. :)
Just came back from Tuesday night movies. Alice and Leo joined us this time to watch "28 Days Later." Pretty gruesome movie, and pretty scary. Jumped a few times and some very unnecessary nudity (maybe because it's a European movie).
It will be busy for the next few days, I am shifted to do overnights for our new Remerchandising push-- working overnights Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Wowsers! Hope I make it out alive!
Well, that's been my kinda week this week. Hope you enjoy the new layout!
First of all, I hope everyone had a excellent Canada Day! For all those who had fun, I worked! Yikes. But I did get time-and-a-half, goody! So yes, I saw my beloved Mr. Krucko at Chapters that day. He friggin took off so many books off the shelve-- seriously, like a TOWER of books! And of course, he didn't buy anything.
Well, Mark, Bowie and Eric visited at work that day, and they wore their patriotic "I LOVE T.O." shirts-- they all look so fantabulous! I myself tried to look "festive" too, I wore a white shirt with a red tie ( couldn't be any more creative because of stupid Indigo dress codes. grr ). So yes, when I approached Krucko, the 3 stooge-losers mentioned above left me to talk to him by myself. YOU GUYZ SUCK. After work, had a little Starbucks at Main Street Unionville and went home.
Saw Charlie's Angels on Monday. Not too great. Lucy Liu is prettier-- which is always nice.
Went downtown for Bowie's birthday to do some shopping, which was a blast! Gillian, Mark, Eric, Bow and I strolled thru Queen Street. The hilight was Gillian buying Paul Frank Panties and Adidas Socks. Yes. Then we crossed through Chinatown, and I bumped into the Andrew's-- which was a pleasant surprise. :). Off to Kensington Market we went. I got some cool blue collar work clothes with my name on it (for $8!) way too cool. Went to Peel Pub for dinner, and browsed at Chapters Festival Hall where there was a sexy Blues musician performing. Great night.
Congrats Vancouver for getting the Olympics in 2010!!! GO CANADA! But Vancouver's success means Toronto has no chance. Booo. In a few decades, I suppose. A big event like Olympics seems like the only way to intensely develop a city. The city of Toronto keeps saying that the will work on revitalizing the waterfront and the Gardiner despite our loss with the Summer Games, but of course, nothing is happening. Nevertheless, I'm happy for Vancouver-Whistler.
I've uploaded some Rez and some new Waterloo pics. Take a look here.
- UW Life Year One Updated!
- Residence New!
Another fews days has passed, and I guess i could say i had a pretty good few days. Yes, good old summer is finally here and finally get to see some "hot people in the hot sun." lol.
Another reason why "Telus Sucks" as written on my cellphone banner: Now, I am charged for my call display. Aiya! Apparently, I have been having call display for free (for almost 2 years) and they recently did an audit of my account to realize this fact. So yes, now I have to pay $29. Sucks ass.
Oh yes. This just in: The Mad-Dog and Billie shananigan lingers on! Now they bump out Bob and Erin on CHFI for the morning show. Wow, talk about no compassion for employees! Bob and Erin have been on for so long, and now we have to listen to MD and Billie in an Adult Contemporary station. What the hell.
On Friday, I went downtown and visited Josh. Hehe, it seemed like we were the only people online that night hehe. But anyways, we went to this cool Bubble Tea place in Chinatown. We had this cool float thingy- no tapioca- it was really good, but expensive at $6.49. Although the Spadina Rail have been completed for a really long time, I really have to give them credit, Chinatown definitely looks really nice with it installed. Brings efficiency, culture, and aethetics to the area. Very nice indeed.
I have noticed the great demographic change in Chinatown, not too much Chinese people. Many seem Vietnamese and Filipino. Perhaps we should just rename it Asiantown. What was funny was that when we were there, a vicious fight broke loose in the place. oooOOOooo, very urban for this suburban kid. Haha, I looked so suburban that day, poeple downtown dress like they're going to the club! While I'm there with my light blue jeans and graphic T. lol.
You can just tell I'm not a cityfolk.
I treated my dad to dinner on Saturday for Father's Day; we went to "Sun Fai." I know what you're thinking, Matt is so cheap! But the thing is, my dad chose to go there, so I insisted.
[7 hours passed...]
I'm back, I didn't finish writing me entry so I just left it til I came back. Went to Tim Hortons, watched a bit of TV, had a walk, on the phone, and a bit of Canadian Idol.
It's hard being in Waterloo. Sometimes I wonder why I chose Waterloo to begin with. Surely, I enjoy what I'm taking and I generally enjoy the UW environment, but my unsteady living patterns is so hard. Really hard. It's like living two different lives: a Toronto Life and a Waterloo life. It is just my luck sometimes. From sustaining family and personal relationships, to ongoing travelling around in these "two lives." It's so hard.
In OAC, I thought to myself, "Man, it'll be so great to go to Waterloo, with no parents, no nagging, and total freedom." Although that statement still holds true, it also has a price. Sometimes, I wonder, I still have close to four years like this; the neverending living of two lives-- the fact that the likeliness of the merging these two lives is so slim. My intense desire to pull these lives together is not only very frustrating, but miserable. With Coop just shortly around the corner, my situation gets worse. Who knows where I'll be in January, or September...
In life, problems never seem to end, it seems like there's really never a time where you can rested and say i have nothing to worry about. Perhaps this is some Matt-curse, i'm not sure. But whatever it is, I really hope to just stay positive-- even though at times it's just so difficult.
hullo all, hope everyone is doing okay... as for me, i'm doing okay. just okay. could be better. i need to stop avoiding my problems.. but sometimes, it's just so hard to face your problems.... sometimes, you just wanna hide and just not deal with it. I've noticed i'm quite a cowardly person... i don't know.. time and time again, i just avoid problems, then problems go away for a while, but they always come back to haunt you... it's life... this is what i really need to work on.
anyways...on a brighter note, went to Tonic with Thomas and Christine... hahah.. they're a lot of fun... and I enjoy them both. no dirtiness intended.
oh yeah.. SHIMA GOT INTO CO-OP!.. that bitch!.. i'm so happy cuz now we're on syncronized streams! YES!!!! GO SHIMA! also, CONGRATS JEFF on getting into Architecture!.. this is old news, but for sure worth mentioning.. you deserve it Jeff!...
hmmm.. oh yes.. went to minigolf on Saturday... fun fun indeed!... i enjoyed seeing familiar faces like Leo, Bow, Gene, Mark, and no-so-familiar faces like Charles and Rocky.. it was fun... now that i'm on the issue of minigolf, i'm going to bring up yet another planning topic: What's with the MEGA-MEGA-MEGA-BIG-BOX-STORES? have everyone noticed that they're getting bigger and bigger? Look at the Interchange (Hwy 400 and 7) for example, OMG.. it's the size of 3 Markville's! anyway, i short, (cuz i don't wanna bore you), as we learned in Planning: Big Box Sucks.
enough about my planning lessons, i'll stop that for a while.. so yes.. i saw Finding Nemo tongiht.. good stuff.. thanks Leo for driving me... went with gene, eric, bow and last but certainly not least, mark. I really enjoyed the movie.. really really worth seeing.. Dory (Ellen Degeneres) is sooo funny.. lol.. after the movie, went to Congee Wong.. yum yum!
well.. off to work tomorrow morning.. i hate work i hate work. eric and engene, have fun at Coldplay!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
hmmmm it's been quite a calm weekend....
sunday was a very interesting night.... but bad planning indeed.... we eventually decided to have Bubtea at Market Village... which was a lot of fun... being stingy us, many of us didn't want to spend too much..... so many options were waved without question: The Cheap Boat. Anyways... after many of us went home... Eugene, Mark and I chilled at the Mark-Park.... and after a few swings... i started to get naucious. Perhaps it wasn't the swining per se, but that combined with the chilly evening... well we had a good talk.. haven't had one of those in quite a while.... stayed up wayyy later than i should... :)
since then, I haven't dont much.. oh yeah.. saw the Matrix on Tues.. excellent, just excellent.... i'm glad i saw it, even though i was a little skeptical of it initially... then we had some "China" dinner, where the waitress (and co-owner) knew nothing but Mandarin, and of course, caused a problem or two. lol
the rest of the days, i worked.. and worked quite a lot... helped out with a little gardening work with my dad and it looks great!.. and perhaps we'll get to the backyard very soon, cuz it looks really crappy... you would be shocked to see the difference betweent the front and back lawns. lol
today was marks-day. I didn't do all that bad this Winter Term.. i'm generally happy with the results... some i was Positively suprised, and others, negatively suprised... (ahem, LAURIER).. anyways... it was alright...
hey hey.. soo it's now the 13th... what has happened since then... hmmm... oh yes.. the BARBEQUE... it was a pretty sweet barbeque... enjoyed myself indeed.. especially having the opportunity to see all the FMM people.... it was a little chilly.. but still, good times indeed... oh yeah.. HAPPY 20th BDAY ERIC!
after being exhausted on friday... my legs hurt, my ass hurts, my arms hurt, and the most disturbing of all, my groin hurts.. i slept in for most of saturday.. and even missed Mass... anyways... after some long sleep, i went out with Janelle, Thomas, and Jennifer Pinette, but hanging out and not doing anything in particular... hehhe.. wow.. Jenn went all the way to UBC , still as hot, still as tall, and just got back, she had a blast in Vancouver, and Janelle is at RyeHigh and having fun at ToysRUs at Markville.... and of course, Thomas is at UTSC and still at McDix.... hehe.. but it was cool to see them again, it felt like grade 11 all over again! :)
and of course, sunday was Mother's day.. and of course, i had to work.. sigh... and after.. had a little Mother's Day brunch.... and rented The Ring, cuz my mom loves the scary shtuff.. Monday was a shitty day, worked yet again and stupid manager gives me all this shit to do.... i had to take all the mother's day promotions down.. posters, banners, signage, displays.. and other crap... i almost fell off the crappy ladder!.. ahh! so, not all too interesting weekend.. hope it will lighten up a bit on the weekend, and hope this crappy weather is behind us!.
PS: My AE interview was postponed til the 24th.. grr.
hello! here i am bloggin.. laurence says i should blog more (btw, go check his latest layout... WOW, very madonna).. so here i am!
hmm.. what has happened since i last blogged... hmmmm... well.. on saturday.. went out with byron, drew, ben, and ab went to "the club".. ;).. was mainly techno and electronica... which is usually not my thing.. but it was alright... had quite a blast..... but the smoke was really getting to me... i don't know why it gets me soo drowsy and makes my eyes all dry.. yuck... other than that.. i had a really good time....
hmmmm.. so i'm officially back at Chapters... getting exactly 12 hours... omg.. what the hell.. but the good news is that the other merchandising person (Thomas) is quitting to work at the Nike Superstore at Scarborough Town Centre... so which is good news for me, so i can get more hours!.. yes!!!!.... work has been really boring... doing the same: setting up gift and impluse tables... i would really like a change.
hmmm.. what else.. well... finally got a chance to see the McGivney crew (and Jess).. which was excellent..... i haven't seen all your pretty faces in a long time... Mark, Emily, Eugene, Kenneth, Jenn, Leon.... good stuff.. but there's still lots left who i haven't seen...
yeah.. not too much else worth mentioning... well.. i'm already starting to hate this layout.... probably because this layout was partially made months before... expect a new layout soon....
Hey... it's reading week! it feels great to be back home.. but now.. i'm stuck with this stupid-slow-sucks-ass computer... GRRRR.. anyways.. i've been busy busy last week with stupid 4 midterms... all which sucked... enough about that.
hmmm.. there hasn't been too much going on.. oh yeah.. i went to the Car Show at the Convention Centre with my dad today... that was pretty cool... well.. some disappointments.. and some surprises... the most disappointing was the Japanese Imports... aiya.. if we haven't seen enough Civics, Proteges and Altimas.. AIYA..they hardly put out anything we haven't seen..... but what i was cool were the Audis (the new a4's nice!.. my REALISTIC dream car) , the SAABs, and the most surprisingly, the GMs: the new oldsmobile models are pretty cool........was one tiring day.. i'm soo tired from all the walking..
oh yes.. i sooo caught up on my TV watching.. i was able to catch my first (and last) Joe Millionaire episode.. HAHA.. "hahha" is all i have to say... i don't get it.. Here's a thought: You would think you can tell if a person is a millionaire by simply shaking his hand.. y'know?.. i'm sure a construction worker like Evan would have the most coarse and rough hands ever.. nothing to what a Millionaire would have..... yes yes.. your hands don't lie.. (HAHHA, that means you, Mark Siu! HAHA.. ewwwww).. oh yes.. and i also had the luxury to catch the hyped up Michael Jackson Special... he is one wacko person.... the guy is living a dream... (but yet.. a very depressing dream)..
hmmm.. what else what else.. hmm.. nothing else worth mentioning.. enjoy the rest of your reading week!

YAY!.. the next Feds Executives are PLANNERS! Planners rock!
PS: EMILY SUCKS! I WANNA SEE FLORA!
PPS: Happy Belated Birthday, Em.
PPPS: I MISS THE McGIVNEY crew... we need to go out more!..
Hey everyone! HAPPY YEAR 4701! it's been a very-quite boring but food filled weekend... heheh.. omg.. i couldn't sleep last night (and the night before)... it's soo weird.. it seems like my arms are all out of place and i can never get into a comfortable position... i felt like just cutting my arms off!! AHHH!.. anyways... i did manage to get to sleep.. but not much.. hahah..
i have a small little comment to make.. well.. it is indeed Chinese New Year.. and of course Red Pockets are quite popular.. but when my family and i went to have dim sum with my aunts and i noticed that they had to give red pocket to all head waiters and waitresses.... hmm.. and i'm thinking wow.. "i'd sooo won't do that.. since i'm sooo damn stingy".... but apparently when i asked my dad why my uncle would be so generous... and my dad replied "how do you think you always get a table so quickly when you come here!?!".. and then i totally got it.. ahha.. it's like an investment to get a quick table throughout the year... omg... evil! evil! evil!
it is now Sunday, which means I've got to start doing the work that i promised i'd do over the entire weekend... Sunday's the worst... sigh.. i went shopping yesturday.. because now i rarely go shopping, esp now that i'm in Waterpoo, i feel like i have to get something when i DO go shopping.. AHHH!.. i must stop!.. i ended up getting 2 pairs of shoes... haha.. not i will not be needing any shoes in a while.... i think i should stay in Loo just so i'd stop my compulsive shopping... hahah.. and since i have extra OSAP money left over.. it's way too tempting!!!!
what else has happened this weekend.. hmmm.. nope.. last week was certainly a boring week.. i seriously have nothing to say about it.... well.. chris' new layout is up.. and it's fantabulous! and i got the sneak peak! (aren't i special).. hmm.. and yeah.... was checking out pix of Chris, Jono, Steve, Erika and Diana's new home for Fall 2003.. it's certainly is really really really nice on the exterior!.. mm hmm!. we've yet to finalize our plans yet.. and i hate these housing things.. there's too much to think about.. especially when the establishments within a very short vicinity of UW and WLU are so damn slummy. (did i mention this already?) maybe i'll just live at home and do a commute everyday?!?.. hhmmmmmmmm.. food for thought.
okay.. two three more weeks until reading week.... can't wait to see the day... later.!Here's a little treat for you all this New Year:

Wow wow... shima is now half-of-forty years old.... it's incredible how fast people age... hehhe.. well.. her birthday was yesturday.. and me and couple of friends went to Mongolian Grill at the University Plaza to celebrate the big day. People weren't too photogenic today... so there wasn't too much picture action going on... but that's okay.. hehe.. here's some of the pics

HAPPY 2003!!! Wow! Ladies and gentlemen! Believe it or not,, most of you visitors are turning 20 this year! AHHH!!... freaky freakiness! Well, may 2003 be filled with hope, peace, satisfaction, self-control and discipline, health and academic success!anyways.... RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTIONS! tho i never stick to them... i must not break my trend of making new year resolutions!.. lemme see...> Don't do initial readings a few hours before an exam> Sleep earlier> Pierce something (Don't tell Daddy!)> End my relationship with Britney Spears> Renovate my room (at "home home")> Identify and preserve Canadian culture (whatever that may be)> Despise all non-recyclers> Track my geneology!and more importantly...> Make better New Years ResolutionsThats it... i think i could handle this!Anyways... my last day of work was Tuesday.. and of course on my last day of work.... someone just has to piss me off... DAMN DAMN CUSTOMERS! omg, what a loser. Lemme set up the dialogue."Good afternoon, this is Chapters Markham. Matt speaking, can I help you?""Its about time, sheeh, can you look up a book for me?""Certainly, what are you looking for?""It is called 'Knitting' by [I forget]"[The stupid computer takes forever to load]"HELLO HELLO, did you find it yet?""No, the page is loading, just a moment""HELLO HELLO""I'm sorry, i understand that it is taking a little longer than usual, but the page is still loading"[mumbles something indistinct][yelling at her in my mind]"Okay, unfortunately, the book is out of stock, but according to the computer, there should be one copy at Indigo Yorkdale. What I could do for you is I can give you their number and you could give them a call to make sure because one-copy titles are sometimes very hard to find on the shelf, is that alright?""Sure, [rudely] since when did we have to do our own fucking customer service?!? [Tolerance thins]""Ma'am, I don't appreciate being sworn at""I want to speak to the manager""[Sarcastically cheerful] Certainly!"[She hangs up momentarily after]Sigh.. WHAT A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG... seriously, what the hell.. you have a phone at home... fricking call yourself, you loser! I understand if you are here in the store.. then sure, i'll call for you since you don't have phone facilities readily available.... you had the energy to contact us.. i don't think calling Yorkdale would not be more trouble!.. and second of all, if she wasn't such a bitch, then i would actually think about calling for her. Here's a lesson for people... if you are nice to Customer Service Reps, they will be do more for ya.. (ok, generally) OMG, she made me soo mad! UGHHHHHHH!!anyways... i think i've ranted enough today... hope everyone likes the new layout...
Hey people.... this has probably been the longest time since i've blogged!.. wow.. haven't blogged since i came back to T-Dot! Well... nothing much as happened... yep.. besides work and sleep, there's really nothing to talk about.... wow, tho Chapters have exhausted me in the past weeks... i realized how much i missed it... I really do love Chapters... despite my occasional ranting, i really missed it... =( heheh.. funny eh? well... chapters does have it's flaws.. it seems like customers get more and more bitchy as christmas comes.. and have a dozen people basically running at you and almost attacking you for help... wow wow wow... hhahaha.. but i just love taking the "Government worker initiative" in helping customers-- nice and slow and easy... =) hahha.. .. well... my last day is Dec 31... so they're not using me the max cuz i told them i can work until Jan 4.. but that's okay... i'd rather have it this way... so i can have a few days to relax before i get back to Waterpoo... well... what else has happened? oh yes, the xmas bash at Joyce's apartment!.. GOOD STUFF!... great applauses for Alice, Leo and Jenny for all their great planning skills!... yes... there were problems here and there.. but who cares.. it was still a successs... I had a good time!.... it's great to see everyone again!... hmmm... oh yes.. my trip home from Waterloo!.. hahah.. it's funny.. it was my first time i took the greyhound, and surprisingly, i got CARSICK!... when i usually take the FedBus (which is a school bus) i am fine.. but seriously i felt like barfing!!!!... well.. what sucks about Greyhound is b/c it takes my downtown.... but what was cool was that i got a little tour downtown... wow... quite a lot has changed.. there's so much condos on the harbourfront!.... anyways.... i look like such a foreigner going home on the subway holding a sports bag, a napsack... and 2 more bags on each hand... aiya... it was bad.. not to mention how tiring i was... hheheh.. omg... half of the break is done!... AHHHHHH!... i don't want to go back!!!!!!... i must must get a layout going before i head back!.. =)
awww.. i feel so special!!!!.... i love you all!!!!!!!!!!... ::doing the beauty pageant wave and blow-kiss:: anyways... Jess (like her BIG self) occupies sooo much of the countersqueal space.... but nevertheless, i'm happy to see comments on the page.....
first i will follow up on the questions and comments from last entry.. Marr (Mark), Emily, Mike: Thank you thank you for the complements: What can i say? I get hotter and hotter each day!
Jenny: Again, thank you for the complements, it is very flattering!.. ohh baby!.. anyways.. about school, well, I know there's a lot of reading to be done... and it seems like sometimes you'll never catch up to the same pace as the prof's.. but the key is just try your best... make sure to do QUALITY reading.. =)
Jenny and Leo: True, Ms Cote can be very boring at times too.
Jess: sigh.. what can i say?!?.. someone needs some ENGLISH101... cuz don doesn't stand for anything.. (i'm assuming you mean "stand for" cuz don, like those mafia movies... simply means the leader of something.... and yeah... the don's hot.. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeaah... Another thing... PLANNING ROX (it doesn't suck).. and in order bring woodside square to have more white people, you simply have to get out the area!-- that's the suggestion.. you're scurrying them away!
All: Please please.. don't fight over me!... there's enough to go around!! (even "Marr")...
Okay.. since you guyz are such loyal visitors.. and i don't want to lose my loyal visitors, i'll announce this: COMING SOON!.. and NEW and BETTER webcam pic!....... this is it.... lemme annouce it!!!... it willl be........................................................... me NAKED!! yeah!!!!!!.. so come back soon!..
That's all ladies and gents... off to sleep..
I AM LEGAL!!!!
Thanks everyone for the B-Day greetings and gifts!!
I bumped into Canossa at church on Saturday... and she mentioned that she is going to World Youth Day... I'm kinda interested in it right now.. but i don't want to be alone.. and she says that it's still not too late to register for the weekend package.... is anyone still interested?!.. please gimme a countersqueal or call me.. ASAP!!!!
Hello everyone!... well... you're probably thinking that the hell this subject header is.. but i'll explain that in a second..
anyways.. it's been a while since i've made an entry sooo.. lemme see what i remember.. hmmm.. well.. yesturday.. i had work.. from 3-10.30.. which was a hell long shift... OMG... it's really crazy.. but then i need the money!... well.. i have a small rant about Markham Transit!.. of course.. you know what i'm going to talk about... Okay, since my shift is at 3.. i departed from home at about 1.50 cuz i knew it will be a long wait... I usually take northbound on McCowan and Westbound on 7... the TTC McCowan was fine... i got to the on the bus very quickly.. and i was at the Markville intersection at about 2.10... well.. that fricken Hwy 7 bus took 40 Minutes to get here!.. WHAT THE FUCK!... and i'm sure you guys know how hot it was yesturday!... sigh.... and guess what?!?.. THE BUS MADE ME LATE FOR WORK!... but the thing is, there were sooooo much people waiting for the bus!!... (approx 15 people).. so don't the damn Transit people say there is insufficient ridership for frequent buses!.. sigh.. AHHHHH!.. gets me soo mad!..
on to other news... This afternoon, Bowie, Leo and I went to Mark's house.. and we watched "Shallow Hal".. pretty good movie.. it was pretty funny... and we made it like a pizza party lunch kinda thing.. (just like when we were kids!).. and then... Bowie reminded me that i have to send in a picture to Waterloo for my WATcard.. so Mark took pictures for us... and since i look so ugly... i decided to touch it up a bit.. (just a bit!.. haha).. here are the before and after shots!
BEFORE

AFTER
do you think i overdid it?!?.. okay.. maybe that's not a good question... the question is: does it look natural? does it look like me? haha.. i spend about an hour and a half on it!.. see what you can spot!.. and i'll reveal all of them on my next entry!.. haha
-- Playlist Updated
Oh yess.... a week has gone by and i hope that everyone is doing exceptionally fine... as for me.. i haven't done much besides work or sleep... (which is the way i like it!)... i have been waking up at approximately 1.30ish everyday.. and it's soooo sweeet!... but there are definitely some things to recap.. and i'm going to do it ERIC STYLE!.. (that sounds cool!)..
Waterloo Accounting Fate? Anyways, on Friday.. i went to go pick up my report card and to my precise calculations, my final best six OAC average is EXACTLY-- no more, no less-- than the requirement to get into Waterloo Accounting... soo.... then i rushed to the guidance office so that they can print me a transcript that i can send to UW... after some scoulding from Mr. Naidoo for being "irresponsible" and leaving things to the last minute-- apparently, as they were about to leave the office... what i didn't know is that they will be leaving for the last time until the end of August... guidance will be closed for the summer...-- so if i were to be late one second.. Accounting chances would be over... (though questions still arises whether i want to do accounting... )
Chapters Rant (again!).. well.. i donno what to say for this one... well.. 3 American Tourists came into the store today... and they were asking me whether they have this book in stock (Author: "Chiltor" or something).. anyways.. i told them that unfortunetly this book is not in but it could be ordered on our computer system... then... one of the men in a furious rage says, "WHAT? THIS BOOK IS ON THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER??? I DON'T BELIEVE THAT A BIG STORE LIKE THIS DOES NOT HAVE IT!"... and i'm thinking "New York Times" helllo?!?... surely.. New York Times is a famous newpaper... but believe it or not..we live in a country called Canada!!!... and the Globe and Mail the where WE get our bestseller lists. sigh.... sometimes i feel that there's soo much Americanization that too much is assumed to exist beyond American borders nowadays... sorry.. i know i rant too much about Chapters... but since i can't rant to the customer.. you are guys are the next victim... and i thank you for that!
