work week 13 over!
11:14 AM

It’s Friday, I’m so happy! But it’s the last FedBus trip this term :( It’s Greyhound until the end of the term :( Things have been okay. Roommates are actually being somewhat cooperative. Maybe this will be a good trend. Managed to have a fantabulous dinner with my good Chapters buddy Ani last night who goes to WLU. Apparently, our manager fired a co-worker because of a “personality issue” WHAT THE FUCK! that’s a violation of Labour Laws! If I were him, I’d sue his ass!

more issues at work. omg. it’s about my documentary. so yesturday, the psych experiment supervisor came in because he’d like my work files firewired onto his hub— since they collaborated with us. anyways, i had compressed the file down to a simple quicktime because I couldn’t occupy the memory for that long on the Video eMacs— it was 20 gigs. :S. the means the file is no longer in little snippits of little clips put together— people won’t be able play around with the footage sequencing and the all video layers have been flattened.

He was so disappointed that i compressed the file down and he made me feel bad for what i did— “well, i guess we’ll have to start from scratch again” i don’t know what to say about that. Seriously, that was so rude. i understand that for the next experiment, they might simply play around with the different footages to make a few new elements that will be appropriate for the next study.

But seriously, I just don’t want them to play around with my work— it’s my work— and don’t want someone altering it a little and then passing my work as their own. Obviously, I didn’t say that, but seriously if they want some new footage, they can call me up and I’ll help them out. — I kept saying that again and again — that I’m willing to help them out for the next study—but he doesn’t understand what I’m getting at — these are the 6-digit-salaryacademicians we’re paying for here :S. (Did I mention he’s a psychologist?) I don’t think i’m being selfish am I?

The Misprint is out today— it’s the annual funnies edition of the Imprint. Read this, this and mathies and engineers: this! Haha! Yay Imprint!

That is all boys and girls.

Did you ever see the iPod-ization of St. George Station on the subway? It was good times, I'm kinda sad that it's gone because it looked really sweet!
